Something Different.

This time, I thought I would do something different. Something like an interview. So, here it is:

1) What do I like to do for the pleasure of life?

As creepy it may sound, all I love to do in this busy schedule of my daily chores is to surf the Internet not only because of its informative qualities, but also because it has so much to offer. I love the most embarrassing thing and a true fact that I do, which many people find boring: surf Wikipedia, following link after link and using tabbed browsing to develop massive backlogs of pages to read it all in the hope of learning something interesting. I love to go on youtube, just keep watching stuff until I reach up a point to stop. I simply love so much of the obscurity presented in the world and the fact that Internet makes it all more accessible.

2) What is the best piece of advice I have received in the last three years?

Its better to have the courage to do something and fail, rather than sit idle and do nothing.

3) What is it that I wish I were better at being or doing?
I wish I were better at multitasking, i.e. balancing the time given to studies, sports and socialising. To be honest, the time management semenars has actually helped me a lot in this. I try to avoid wasting time. Its more like, now I actually study more efficiently than before and have a lot of time to socialise and play a lot of sports as well. All thanks to the advice given by the time management experts here at tech.

My first Halloween

Since I’m from a different country where Halloween is not that popular, it was a very different and great experience for me to celebrate my first Halloween in the states. I really liked how people all around campus were dressed. It made my day. Different characters, from different movies, TV shows: Especially the breaking bad ones. It was awesome.

I really wanted to do something for Halloween; dress up as something. So, I went to the store with a few of my American friends and asked them on what would be the best pick for me. Finally, I ended up dressing up as a Mexican. I didn’t know much about it, so I asked people about the stereotypes associated with it and pretended to act like that.

So what next? All that was left was going to a good Halloween party and I did go to one. It was a real different one, you just couldn’t recognize who was what. I really enjoyed every bit of the Halloween day and can’t wait for the next one.
